Temporary Reduction Of In-Person Patient Visits

In response to the rapidly changing COVID-19 outbreak in British Columbia, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has set out expectations for all regulated health professionals providing patient care in the community setting.

All non-essential services involving direct physical contact with patients will be reduced to minimal levels until further notice. Where appropriate, health professionals are encouraged to provide care to patients via telephone and video technology.

SCIMEDICA Health Group will operate in full compliance with these guidelines to do our part to deal with this crisis.  In-person visits at our clinic will still be available in emergent, urgent, and/or essential care cases only All patients will be assessed and screened for symptoms of COVID-19 prior to entering the clinic. Unless direct physical contact is required, physical distancing of two meters will be maintained at all times.

We understand that these changes are inconvenient but extremely necessary at this time. Despite these restrictions, we are still here to serve all your health needs. Although our interaction without our patients will look a little different right now, the team at SCIMEDICA Health Group will continue to provide treatments that support the people in our community to live healthier lives.
